The Discovery Call
Every engagement opens with discovery and qualification: a short questionnaire, a budget confirmation, a call or a written brief. We learn your business, your market and your goals before a dollar changes hands. Sending an inquiry does not create an obligation on either side; it simply starts the conversation. (The fine print lives in Section 5.)
Strategy & Positioning
Marketing strategy and brand positioning: the plan that makes everything after it work harder. We define who you are for, what you promise, and where a Saskatchewan business can realistically win. Strategy is set to an agreed scope, so the price we quote is the price you pay.
Branding, Website & SEO
The main event: brand identity, custom website design and search-engine optimization (SEO), sharpened with modern, AI-assisted workflows that support our judgment rather than replace it. Built to look premium, load fast, and be found on Google by the right customer at the right moment.
Revisions & Collaboration
Good work depends on your feedback, approvals and materials arriving on time. Revision rounds are set in your scope; anything beyond it is welcome and simply agreed in writing first, with a clear fee and timeline. It keeps the kitchen moving and the surprises off the bill. (Sections 6 and 8.)
Launch & Growth
We launch, hand over the finished work that is yours once paid in full, and set you up to grow. We bring professional experience and best practice, not guarantees: results such as rankings, revenue and audience depend on market conditions, platforms and your own execution. (Section 9.)

5. Pre-Engagement & Project Qualification
Before commencing any paid services, YQR Design INC. requires clients to complete a discovery and qualification process. This may include a questionnaire, budget confirmation, discovery call, or written project brief. Submitting a contact form or inquiry does not create a contractual obligation. YQR Design INC. reserves the right to decline or postpone projects that are not a suitable fit or lack sufficient information.
6. Scope of Work & Change Requests
All services are delivered based on an agreed scope of work, defined in a written proposal, agreement, invoice, or email confirmation. Requests outside the agreed scope may require additional fees, revised timelines, and written approval before work begins. YQR Design INC. is not responsible for delays or outcomes affected by unapproved scope changes.
7. Payments, Deposits & Fees
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- A deposit is required before work begins
- Remaining balances are due according to the agreed schedule
- All fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
Deposits and completed services are non-refundable once work has commenced. Late payments may result in paused services or delayed delivery.
8. Client Responsibilities & Project Delays
Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback, approvals, access credentials, and required materials. If client delays exceed fourteen (14) days, YQR Design INC. reserves the right to pause the project. Resuming a paused project may require rescheduling and additional fees.
9. Marketing Results & Performance Disclaimer
YQR Design INC. applies professional experience and industry best practices but does not guarantee specific outcomes, including search rankings, revenue, conversions, or audience growth. Marketing performance depends on factors beyond our control, including market conditions, platform algorithms, competition, and client execution.
10. Use of AI & Third-Party Tools
YQR Design INC. may use third-party software, platforms, and AI-assisted tools to support research, efficiency, content creation, and analysis. These tools supplement professional judgment and do not replace it. YQR Design INC. is not responsible for outages, pricing changes, or limitations imposed by third-party providers.
11. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services with written notice. Upon termination, the client agrees to pay for all work completed up to the termination date. Deposits and completed services remain non-refundable.
12. User Comments & Submissions
Where applicable, users may post comments or feedback. YQR Design INC. does not pre-screen user content and is not responsible for opinions expressed by users. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate or unlawful content.
13. Hyperlinking & Content Liability
Certain organizations may link to our website under fair use conditions. Use of YQR Design INC. branding or logos requires written permission. We are not responsible for content appearing on third-party websites that link to YQRDESIGN.COM.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YQR Design INC. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury, or matters that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

What we collect
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, and whatever you choose to tell us about your project. If you call, we keep your number to reply. That is it; no hidden tracking, no data harvesting.
How we use it
Only to reply to you and to do the work you have asked for: quoting, designing, and delivering your project. We may send occasional follow-ups about your active project. We do not add you to a marketing list without your say-so.
Who we share it with
No one, except the trusted services we use to run the studio: our email provider and website host. We never sell or rent your information to third parties.
Cookies & analytics
This site uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not use invasive advertising trackers.
